Makassar - The South Sulawesi Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Agency (Disnakertrans), through its Labor Inspection Division, held a Coordination Meeting on Labor Inspection at the Sipakainga’ Hall on Monday, September 14, 2026.
The coordination meeting was held as part of efforts to strengthen coordination and establish a common understanding among labor inspection personnel in carrying out their duties and responsibilities throughout South Sulawesi.
One of the main topics discussed during the meeting was Regulation of the Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2026 concerning Procedures for Labor Inspection. The discussion was aimed at strengthening participants’ understanding of the applicable provisions and mechanisms governing labor inspection.
Through this coordination forum, labor inspection personnel are expected to strengthen synergy, professionalism, and effectiveness in carrying out labor inspection and enforcement functions.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to evaluate the implementation of labor inspection duties and identify various challenges encountered in the field. Effective coordination is expected to support a more targeted, responsive, and regulatory-compliant labor inspection system.
The South Sulawesi Disnakertrans continues to strengthen labor inspection as an important instrument for ensuring the fulfillment of workers’ rights and promoting harmonious and fair industrial relations.
