Makassar — The Manpower and Transmigration Office of South Sulawesi Province (Disnakertrans Prov Sulsel) continues to promote competency enhancement and youth employment through participation in the National Apprenticeship Program initiated by the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia via its official platform at https://maganghub.kemnaker.go.id/.
This program is specifically intended for Indonesian citizens holding a National Identity Number (NIK) who are fresh graduates holding a Diploma, Bachelor's, or Professional Degree from Higher Education institutions registered with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology. The primary eligibility requirement sets a graduation limit of a maximum of 1 year from the date of the diploma or professional certificate, with professional certificates obtained within a maximum of 2 years from the diploma/bachelor's graduation date. Active students are not eligible to apply, and participants are strictly permitted to join the National Apprenticeship Program only once.
Interested candidates can register 100% online and free of charge by first creating an account on the SIAPkerja platform as a digital identity before logging into MagangHub to complete personal data, upload required documents, and select suitable apprenticeship vacancies. Although the Ministry does not officially set a minimum GPA requirement, partner companies may implement specific additional criteria, including minimum GPA thresholds.
The apprenticeship program runs for a full 6 months, predominantly conducted on-site at the host company's offices, though hybrid schemes may apply depending on institutional policies. Furthermore, the program encourages placements in Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost (3T) regions as part of national human resource development equity.
Participants who pass the selection process conducted by partner companies will receive extensive benefits. The government fully covers monthly allowances equivalent to the local Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK). Additionally, participants receive social security protection covering Work Accident Security (JKK) and Death Security (JKM) through BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, with registration and premium payments fully handled by the Ministry of Manpower.
Upon successfully completing the entire program—from onboarding to certification—participants will receive an official competency certificate from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower recognized by national industries, a BNSP certification, and invaluable work experience.
